Media Specialist Position:

The Toronto City School District is seeking a Media Specialist for Toronto Jr.-Sr. High School grades 6-12.  Applicant must hold a valid Ohio 4 Year Resident Educator License or a 5 year Professional License with a Library Media Teaching Area endorsement. Successful applicant will be responsible for all facets of the library program. Intervention Teacher Position:

The Toronto City School District is seeking Intervention Teachers to fill multiple grant-funded positions at Toronto Jr.-Sr. High School grades 6-12 and Toronto Elementary School grades K-5.  Applicant must hold a valid Ohio 4 Year Resident Educator License or a 5 year Professional License. Ohio Intervention Specialist license is prefered but licenses in other core academic areas will be considered.  Successful applicant will be responsible for providing intervention to children who have experienced learning loss due to the pandemic. Substitute Teaching and Support Staff Opportunities:

Thank you for your interest in working in the Toronto City School District. The school district has multiple substitute opportunities available on a daily basis for teachers, instructional aides, and bus drivers.  We are always recruiting potential candidates for these substitute positions. All candidates must be properly licensed and have a valid Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation (BCI) and/or FBI criminal background check. Substitute Opportunities for Civil Service Positions:

The Toronto City School District’s custodian, secretary, and cook positions are under the Toronto Civil Service Commission. In order to substitute in these positions, a candidate must pass the civil service exam for the job. Consideration for full or part time employment is based on a candidate’s ranking on the civil service list for the position.   In addition, all candidates must have a valid Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation (BCI) and/or FBI criminal background check.
