Toronto City Cafeteria Garden

Your child's cafeteria is dedicated to bringing the farm right to the lunch table! We will be growing a garden of vegetables to use in our lunch program during Fall 2026, and we will educate students on garden practices and the benefits of eating local.
Stay tuned to see how our garden grows this summer!
SUN Bucks
School might be out, but that doesn't mean school lunch is over! Some students may qualify for SUN Bucks or Summer EBT. The Summer Electronic Benefit Transfer Program for Children provides a one-time grocery benefits to low-income families with school-aged children to use during the summer. Families can use the money to buy food at participating grocery stores, farmers markets, and other authorized retailers. Families who qualify will receive a one-time benefit of $120 for each eligible child. Any child attending Toronto City School District who is directly certified for free meals through Medicaid, TANF, and other qualifying programs was automatically submitted for this program and should receive their cards in June 2026.
If you believe you are qualified through income but your child does not participate in the aforementioned programs, click the link below to sign up.
Participation in any of the SUN meal sites does not disqualify a child from receiving SUN Bucks/Summer EBT.
School is Out, Lunch is ON!
This summer, the Ohio Department of Education and Workforce is sponsoring SUN Meals, a summer food program where Kids Eat Free! All children ages 1 through 18 are eligible to receive free meals during the summer months at participating program sites.
Toronto City School District is NOT a participating site at this time!
