On February 27th, Toronto’s newest team, the THS “Know-it-All” Knights, finished their second season at the Jefferson County Academic Competition League Tournament with a few competitive matches and The JV squad brought home the plaque for JV League Runners-up for the 25-26 season. During tournament play the Varsity Team lost their first match in double overtime 31-30 against the top seeded Carrollton. The “Know-it-All” Knights went on to beat the St. Clairsville team 25-20 in their second match, but lost their 3rd in another nail-biter, falling to Indian Creek in overtime 30-27.
We are already looking forward to next year’s season, and wish our founding senior members, Gracee Rex, Savannah Swearingen, Pax Frey, and Loren Chen, and Brody Winters, as well as senior teammate Lucas Wiseman, the best as they move on to tackle their post-secondary endeavours.
The JV “Know-it-All” Knights, League Runners-up include: Garen Mader, Pierce Frey, Milana Busby, Kam Coburn, Maddie Clore, Tayte Starr, and Anthony Pierce. Many of these team members will join remaining Varsity member Jake Dobbs next season.
