"Something I'll always appreciate about elementary school is how teachers make sacrifices by giving up their personal and family time to grade papers, prepare lessons, and attend conferences. The teachers sacrifices will never go unnoticed. Every teacher that taught me I just wanted to say, 'Thank you for all the teaching you did for me. You shaped my future in ways I can't describe. Every lesson you did, you made my education knowledge go higher than the last time. I will never forget what you taught me. Thank you for emboldening me and helping me succeed in my future. It was an honor for being part of your classes. It really was...I am really grateful for being a student at Toronto Elementary.' Toronto Elementary taught me basic thinking in math, science, history, reading, and social studies. I also developed more critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills. I really appreciated my time here, school taught me a LOT. I also am really thankful for my counselors including Mr. Caleb my first counselor, and Mrs. Liz. Both counselors taught me everything I need to know for my communication skills, controlling my emotions, learning to have more empathy, expressing my feeling through words when I'm having a hard time, and getting along with other people. A big thank you to the lunch ladies and janitors, they took their time to make food for us, and cleaned up messes. The lunch ladies and janitors took a really big responsibility for us and I am so grateful for you guys and I appreciate it. I also appreciate all of the specials that I have. The music teacher, library teacher, art teacher, gym teacher, and band teacher did their best to make things as fun as possible and that is a big thing that I honor. Mrs. Silverthorn and Mrs. Rawson do a lot for us students and staff. They made school fun and worth our time, so thank you Mrs. Silverthorn and Mrs. Rawson. My years in Toronto Elementary is where I cherished a lot of memories including my best friends Bernie, Bethany, Silvia, and Izzy. They are the best people I could ever ask for as a friend. School helped me to be a better person, treat others how we want to be treated, and act appropriately. Since the day I arrived at preschool my future was just beginning, and now look at me now. I'm a 5th grader ready for 6th grade, I have learned a lot through the years. Every single person on this planet knows what they know now because of their teachers. So, teachers are the ones who shaped our future and help us to where we are now. THIS is what my time at Toronto Elementary meant to me."
